Onion Snow

Tete a Tete Daf in the snow

Yesterday, the warm sun appeared in the afternoon. Today, this. After a beautiful sunny but cool day, I awoke to a winter landscape. About an inch of snow fell here – more farther north – and my view was back to white enchantment. Now the snow has stopped and it is raining, damp, and cold. Think I’ll make meatloaf tonight. Locally, “Onion Snow” is the snow that falls and does not stay after you’ve planted your onion sets in early spring. Here today, gone tomorrow. From my lips to God’s ear. <smile>
